We were hopeful Friday would bring another Tax vote, but to no avail. So we are meeting all day today. The budget has been signed by the conference committee so they may tee it up for debate and a vote this morning. The tax bill has been the hang up for the house. So you wonder how the bill that is currently being negotiated could garner 63 votes when it costs the tax payers of Kansas 40 million more dollars than the tax bill voted down Thursday night. I can't wait to see this debated and voted on. Then we will see where the politics of tax policy falls. Stay tuned in as I will be blogging when something breaks today. Happy Saturday from Topeka.
