Thursday evening at 9:15 the house voted to defeat the Hutton/Suellentrop tax bill 18 to 94. I am truly amazed. If we could not pass or even come close to passing the Hutton/Suellentrop tax bill then no tax bill will pass the house. Unfortunately this is where we are stuck. It shows how polarized the house really is. I would suggest we may be here another two weeks. We will see. A Sad Evening In Topeka.
