Yesterday I had lunch at the Breakthrough Club in Wichita. After lunch we toured the facility. This group does wonderful work with the mentally ill. They truly make a difference in the lives of their members. They are a part of Episcopal Social Services. They do not receive funding from the state. Nor are they trying to get funding from the state. They are funded through donations and grants. So, if you are looking for a Non-Profit to give a hand to, this would be a good one.
