Friday morning brought a meeting with the governor about my vote on HB 2019 the bill that will give the governor the ability to appoint Appellate Court Judges and the Senate to confirm. I met with the governor and then took my place in the house chamber. Nothing more to say on this day except to ask God to have mercy and heal the hearts of those that are bent on the destruction of others. They are human, they have needs just like you. They have families that they support and they perform one of the most important jobs in our state. They educate our children. When will it stop. I don't know, but I do know what is in my heart and what I will do. It is nice to be home. Being in Wichita with my wife and kids is much better than anywhere else.
