Thursday was not to eventful in the house. We had a short Health and Human Services committee meeting. We had a fairly short session in the house. But then I had meetings with several department heads from state agencies to include a meeting with a representative from the Lt. Governors office. I am now approaching 500 emails from teachers. Unfortunately most of them are not from my district. We get emails from all over the state. Some think we should be responding to all of these emails. Unfortunately we have a small amount of time as we are in meetings all day long. So, I hope you understand that it is impossible to have enough time in the day to respond to all. So, I choose to respond to the ones from my district. The others I read but hope they are receiving communication from their Representative. I am looking forward to seeing my family later on today. I did not realize how much I would miss them during the week. They are the wind beneath my wings. Happy Friday from Topeka.
