Tuesday was in fact a busy day. Bills are starting to get to the committees now. I believe we will start hearing bills soon. Right now we are still hearing from organizations that are impacted by the committees. I met with people from Credit Unions on Tuesday and attended a reception with the Credit Unions too. There were two constituents in the group of five that met with me. A new bill was introduced HB 2023 and I have started receiving emails about the bill. I did not know what the bill was when I started getting emails. I did some checking and it is a bill having to do with Unions. I will be leaning more about this bill as it makes its way through the house. One of my constituents Les Grauberger is helping me set up constituent coffees during the months of February and March. We will have a constituent coffee on the following days: Saturday Feb. 2nd and 16th and March 2nd and 16th. The coffee will be held at the Westlink branch library. They will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. I hope we will have a good showing of constituents. Happy Wednesday from Topeka.
