Senator Ted Cruz preformed and admirable feet in his 20 non-filibuster. I applaud him for his commitment to defund Obamacare. It is now important that we as citizens contact our Senators and make sure that they vote NO on the Cloture Vote. The Cloture vote is a procedural vote that stops debate and it requires 60 votes. If the cloture vote passes then the democrats can amend the Continuing Resolution and strip out the Defund Obamacare piece. Then they will proceed with a vote on the amended bill and it will pass with a simple majority. We need all Republican Senators to vote NO on Cloture. If the Republican Senators stay united then Cloture will not happen and debate will not be cut off. Meaning that they will continue to debate this until some compromise can be had. Without a No vote on Cloture, it is over. Please contact your Senator no matter where you live and ask them to vote No on Cloture. I have already contacted both Kansas Senators.
