I just received word of the passing of one of the nicest guys in the House of Representative, my good friend Ed Bideau. Ed will be missed by many. He was a person I could talk to and not worry about it going anywhere. He knew my wife's dad who was a judge and died many years ago. He had some good stories about my father-in-law. Ed was one the first representatives I got to know as an incoming Freshman. I will always remember Ed as a freshman that had all the knowledge from his prior time in the House. Kansas lost a great man today and the House lost a statesman. Rest In Peace Ed.
