On Wednesday I attended a check presentation by Amerigroup to United Methodist Open Door. What an amazing organization. This ministry has been around for a long time, but I sure did not know anything about it. The have a day program for the homeless and serve about 200 lunches a day. In addition they have a nice laundry for their clients and a shelter. They work to integrate the homeless back into society and get them to being productive members. I was so amazed with their program. I will definitely be a supporter of this organization. Click on the link to their website.
