As we celebrate Fathers Day today I cannot help but remember my dad. Dad died in Dec. of 2005 but it seems like yesterday. Memorial Day weekend of 2005 was the last time I took him to Branson trout fishing on Lake Taneycomo. He loved trout fishing and he loved being on Lake Taneycomo. My first recollection of vacationing was at Rockaway Beach, MO on Lake Taneycomo and that would have been in 1964. So, it is fitting that on Fathers Day today I am sitting on Lake Taneycomo fishing for Trout. My dad sitting with me in spirit enjoying that cool morning breeze and the serenity of the lake. I miss you dad and wish you were sitting beside me in person instead of spirit. See you again one day. Brings tears to my eyes. Oh, fish on dad and big smile comes to his face.
