Yesterday I participated in the Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus Sporting Clays shoot at Ravenwood Lodge south of Topeka. I had never shot sporting clays before and I would highly recommend it. I want to thank Whitney and Kathy Damron for hosting this event. They were great hosts. I have attached a picture of the team I shot with. The members of our team from Right to Left, Michael White with ITC, Senator Tom Arpke of McPherson County, Rep. Charles Macheers from Johnson County, Rep. Will Carpenter from Butler County and myself. We had a great afternoon of shooting and fellowship. Last evening we all were at the Steak feed at the Association Building. There we had a nice KC strip steak and the fixins. Again we had a chance to talk with our colleagues that we have not seen for a month. All in all yesterday was a great day.
