Yesterday I had the opportunity to go on a guided fishing trip on Milford Lake. We were fishing with David Studebaker a catfish tournament fisherman. I was also fishing with Haley Davee from the Credit Union Association. The day started out slow as it was pretty cool and cloudy. We did not catch our first fish until around 11am and it was a small 2 pound catfish. Then after lunch the clouds went away and it started warming up. I caught another catfish, a little bigger, maybe 4 pounds. Then I caught the largest fish I have ever caught and it was about 8 pounds. Then Haley caught a 5 pound catfish. We had a great time and will get pictures of our fish when they are available. I have attached a picture of Haley's catfish and David our guide. The picture of the catfish in the live well are the ones I caught.

If you want to catch a big catfish call David Studebaker at 785-249-3991 or email him at catfishchasers@yahoo.com. I am sure you will have a great time. His home lake is Melvern and the one he likes to guide on but he will go to other lakes as well.
