Wednesday and Thursday brought some movement in the Tax and Budget arena. It looks like we will be back next week to finish this up. We will find out that while we are in session today. This is a most frustrating time of the session. They say it is like this every year. You would think that they would learn from the past and not continually do the same thing. The big issue holding everything up is the tax bill. We need a tax bill before we leave. The Senate has their proposal and the House has their proposal and the process of bringing them together is slow. Happy Friday from Topeka.
