We have a lot to be thankful for. My mother was in the hospital with kidney failure from last Thursday through today. My wife Diane, picked her up from the hospital and took her home today. Diabetes and all of the drugs she was taking put a strain on her kidneys and caused them to quit. She really does not like the hospital at all, so it is nice that she is back home. I am back in Topeka. The leadership for the House and Senate are still negotiating a settlement to the tax plan. I sure hope they get something done soon as it is time to go back to work. So, much for being done in 80 days. We are hoping to finish in 85 days now. Happy Monday from Topeka.
