Saturday was a somber day as I attended a friends funeral. It is never fun attending a funeral but something we must do to pay our respect to a brother in Christ. Sunday, wow waking up to a lot of snow. That is something I was not expecting. There is something about waking up and going to the window and seeing the billowing white snow in the yard and across the park. It was a pretty site. We will be heading back to the Capitol early tomorrow morning. It will be a short week as far as the number of days but they say those days will be extremely long. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we will be on the house floor all day starting at 9 in the morning. They say we will be on the floor until late in the night every night. So, I guess we will hold on for a long ride. Happy Sunday from home in Wichita.
