Quote of the Day:

At the end of the day the voting public has the final say in who represents them. So, if you are not happy with your government, start by examining who you are voting for. Did you vet the candidate or did you simply vote for the person with the most popularity or most money to spend on your vote. Sometimes the biggest fundraisers are not the best candidate. Did you vote for a person that is going to examine the issues and decide on the proper vote or did you vote for the person that your neighbor told you to vote for. Our democracy works best when we have an informed voting public. On April 2nd we will vote for new school board members and new City Council members. Do you know who you are voting for. Do you know their record, experience or skeletons. These positions all local have the greatest impact on our lives and it is incumbent on us to make an informed decision. Please be informed and vote on April 2nd.
