Thursday was a good day at the Capitol. In Children and Seniors Committee we heard testimony from a Judge and a legal aid attorney that hears children in need cases. That was an interesting hour and half of testimony. There is certainly a lot to consider when dealing with Children in Need. We passed a bill out of the Health committee today that amends a law having to do with organizations that can donate unused prescription drugs. I carried my first bill in the House Committee of the Whole. I will have a photo tomorrow of that. I was 5 minutes late to my Financial Institutions Committee meeting so I was assigned a committee bill to carry in the House Committee of the Whole next week. That's what I get for being late.
