Sunday was a day of rest in Topeka. I had the opportunity to catch up with an old friend in Topeka yesterday. It was nice seeing Art and watching him make Masa. Sunday evening we had 4 receptions to attend. They were all very nice. Today is swear in day. The swearing in ceremony starts at 2 this afternoon. Diane, Hannah and Hayley are coming up for that. I can't wait to see them. I have only been gone 2 days but it seems longer than that. I went down to the gym this morning early and found that another person gets up early like me. I met Freshman Senator Jake LaTurner. He is from the Pittsburg area. It will be nice having someone to talk with while working out. Happy Monday from Topeka.
