On Monday evening I had the opportunity to attend the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce annual meeting. Dr. Robert Gates (former CIA Director and former Secretary of Defense) was the keynote speaker for the event. Dr. Gates is a very dynamic speaker. You could tell by his speech that he does not hold Washington DC in high regard. It was not a partisan speech. He is very concerned about our foreign affairs and the affect it is having on our nation. If you ever get a chance to attend a speech by him, be sure to not miss the opportunity.
