My post this morning talked about Obamacare. I wonder how many of you know that if Obamacare is implemented that health insurance agents like myself will be out of business as we know it today. Why you might ask. Well, it is because most of my client companies are in the small group class of health insurance. The small group health insurance is 2 to 50 employees. That business will all go to the health care exchanges. If I want to be a navigator in the health insurance exchanges then I can be paid a fee for each person I help get insurance. No renewal fees, no building a business. Another effect of Obamacare was that it cut my health insurance commission in half in 2011. How many of you would like to have government come in and cut your pay in half. That is exactly what happened to us last year. Obama does not like business. You can see that by what he does to small business. So, my business hinges on a Mitt Romney win. You can believe that if Obama wins I will be looking to get out of the health insurance side of the business and move to some other type of insurance during the next year. Just thought I would let you all know that Obamacare affects more than just the mandate that everyone has to purchase health insurance or pay a tax. It affects thousands of small businesses all over the country. He does not care what happens to those small businessmen and businesswomen who built their business and can now have it wiped out by the President of the US.
