Today I attended the campaign school hosted by the House Speakers office in Topeka. It was very informative. I wish I would have had something like that when I started in the primary race. They had a good program.

On Wednesday, Scott Schneider, the husband of my primary opponent Bridget Schneider, stopped while I was picking up yard signs and wished me well. I really appreciated him taking the time to say hi and good luck. He offered to help during the general election part of the campaign. During the primary campaign none of the current Representatives would give any help or advice. Now that the general election campaign has started they are stepping forward to help and that is nice. I understand why they do it that way, but it sure does make it harder.

I will be in Topeka on Monday and Wednesday of next week attending Meet and Greet events. I look forward to all the people I will meet at these events. I have to say, it really keeps a person busy. This week I will be concentrating on the fundraising part of the campaign. Then the week of the 20th I will start my door to door work again. That is the most important part of the campaign. On Tuesday I have my interview with WIBA, WABA and the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce. I am looking forward to this as well. If you live in the 100th District, I will see you on the campaign trail very soon.
