Saturday was an extremely busy day. We had 34 people on the streets doing a literature drop across the whole district. Some started at 7:00am and others at 8:30am. We were all finished by 5pm. Talk about a large undertaking. It was massive. We all broke for lunch at 11:30am. That gave us time to rest and get ready for the afternoon. I have to tell you, we have the best volunteers in town. It was such a cool sight to have those 34 volunteers all on the street in Lime Green Vote for Hawkins T-shirts. It was awesome. Well, we have given it our best shot and now it is up to the voters to decide who they want in Topeka representing them on Tuesday. I can hold my head high. I have run a fantastically positive and uplifting campaign. I have not once had anything but good to say about my opponent in print or to the voters. Win or lose I have given it my all and that is all that can be asked of anyone. I must say I could not have done this or even come close to accomplishing what we have without my awesome wife Diane and my two daughters Hannah and Hayley. They have all been fantastic. We are all tired. But, we are ready to start the next segment, the general election campaign against John Willoughby, a Democrat. Tuesday evening come on. Let's see those numbers. Thanks to all of my volunteers and contributors. You are the best.
